About Nea Vrasna

Why Nea Vrasna?

Nea Vrasna is a smaller resort on the Strymon gulf, 3 km east of Vrasna and 8 km from Asprovalta. A quiet village with a sandy beach and a fishing atmosphere, without developed tourism. A Nea Vrasna holiday in 2026 is for travellers who want an affordable northern Greek coast with authentic character.

The character is traditionally fishing. Nea Vrasna has around 800 residents, a small harbour, a few tavernas and a mini-market. It differs from Asprovalta in significantly lower tourist density.
