Pefkohori

May and October are ideal for a quieter holiday with warm sea and no crowds. June and September offer the best value — temperatures up to 30°C, sea 23–25°C, and accommodation 30–40% cheaper than August. July and August are peak months.

Driving is the most flexible option — most Greek destinations are 7–9 hours from Belgrade via North Macedonia (Preševo–Evzoni border). Regular flights serve Thessaloniki, Athens, Corfu, Crete, and Rhodes, with onward bus or rental car connections.

Pefkohori offers variety: blue-flag sandy beaches, local tavernas with fresh fish and mezedes, charming villages with traditional architecture, and excursion options (boat trips, ATV, hiking). Hosts on the ground share specific tips for each destination.

Beaches are mostly organised (sunbeds + umbrellas €8–15/day) with some quieter unspoiled stretches nearby. Most are sandy or pebbly with crystal-clear water. Many hold the Blue Flag (a quality mark for water and management).

Driving + booking directly from owners: €1,500–2,500 for 10 days (accommodation + food + fuel + tolls). Package tour with flights: €2,500–3,500. May and October are cheapest; August is most expensive.
